Economics theories and analysis group (GATE)

GATE studies interactions and coordination between economic agents: networking, cooperation between agents, externalities. Researchers use mathematics and quantitative methods derived from theoretical and applied microeconomics, econometrics, experimental economics, as well as other disciplines. The fields of investigation range from fundamental research (evidence of interaction facts, formal representation of networks and agglomeration effects, normative analysis) to applied research (evaluation of monetary, urban, health, competition, and innovation plolicies) to finalized research (economic studies, policy recommendations). Its research fields are thus complementary: "Theory of games, collective choices and markets"; "Behavioral economy"; "Public policies and space"; "Macroeconomics, finance, history".
